Weapons and Firearms Violations (Export-Import)

Federal arms violations can carry a significant amount of prison time.  Violations range from the minor failure to provide accurate information on a handgun application to importing and exporting large amounts of ammunition and weapons without a proper license.  Any federal weapons indictment will usually carry a conspiracy count.  These cases are often investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacdo, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).  Impoundment of all weapons and loss of any money involved in the transaction is typical.

There are thousands of firearms laws in the United States and abroad.  Defending individuals and companies for importation and exportation violations at the federal level can be a very demanding experience.  We take pride in representing our clients charged with firearms violations.  Many clients are unaware that they have violated any type of firearms laws.  The Right to Bear Arms is a Constitutional Right, yet there are more laws restricting this right than any other Constitutional Right.  The defense of these cases very much will depend on the business practices of the defendant and any prior activities that can be construed as a violation of the Firearms Laws.

Our firearms defense attorneys in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Miami and Miami Beach are able to help you with any federal indictment.
